Description
1 woven loincloth pillowcase + 1 pillow (decoration)
50×50 cm with integrated zipper in pillowcase and pillow
The loincloth from which this pillowcase was made was handmade, so pure luxury! This loincloth is called Nankanfian Adjabia, which means "Royal Throne" in the Baoulé language spoken in the center of Côte d'Ivoire (West Africa). Nankanfian Adjabia refers to the very original patterns of traditional gold-colored thrones chosen for this loincloth, used in the past as a treasure by the king and his dignity, and used today in honor of festive and joyful moments (such as weddings and other celebrations). This loincloth of pure dyed cotton yarn was woven on a traditional loom used for several centuries from generation to generation. This 50 x 50 cm pillowcase is already filled with a pillow of the same size. They are machine washable to a maximum of 60 ° and can be ironed afterwards, as they each have a zipper. The production of the loincloth that makes up this pillowcase required several days of work for our weavers in Africa before being cut and assembled in the workshop in Germany, from where most of our products and items distributed around the world leave the warehouses. .
