Legal Aid Contract in Ireland

This contract is entered into between the Legal Aid Board of Ireland and the recipient of legal aid services, hereinafter referred to as the “Recipient”.

In consideration of the Recipient meeting the eligibility requirements for legal aid as set forth in the Legal Aid Act of 1995 and the Civil Legal Aid Regulations of 1996, the Legal Aid Board agrees to provide legal aid services to the Recipient in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this contract.
The Recipient hereby agrees to cooperate fully with the Legal Aid Board and its appointed legal representatives, providing all necessary information and documentation pertaining to their legal matter and adhering to the advice and guidance provided by the legal representative throughout the duration of the legal aid services.
The Legal Aid Board reserves the right to terminate the provision of legal aid services to the Recipient should they fail to comply with the terms of this contract or if it is determined that the Recipient is no longer eligible for legal aid under the aforementioned laws and regulations.
This contract shall be governed by the laws of Ireland, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
